Exhaust manifold
I have a 1949 3100 with the original frame with the mustang'll front end. I'll be running a automatic with a 5.7 out of a 99 suburban what kind of exhaust manifolds should I use for the close clearance and I really don't want to use headers.

Re: Exhaust manifold
I have tried a few manifolds I like better but these give you a little more clearance on how to run pipes off of them. I don't like how the spark plug wires have to over the manifold But it does help with clearance at the bottom side of the engine.

Re: Exhaust manifold
Old rams horns with straight down drop work well IF you use the front motor mounts and not side mounts. Pic is of my TF but shows how they fit. A good exhaust guy can route the header pipe around any thing in the way.
