brake lines help

ok so im to running brake lines but ive ran into a snag. i need a longer brake line that goes from frame to caliper. would it be possible to use hydraulic hose lines instead of trying to find longer rubber brake lines?

Give Russell a call, I had the same issue and just told them what I had and the guy over the phone told me the numbers to order. Got braided three (calipers and one rear) braided stainless and self bleeders from summitt for $120 including shipping. If you use rubber make sure the hose is rated for brake fluid and pressure. I got braided because I will be using the truck and the old rubber ones did show signs of abuse from tree limbs, etc.

i might have to do that. how do i find out what pressure brake lines are rated for because i can get heavy duty hydraulic hoses made for me at a reasonable price. the 1/4 lines i can get are rated at 6000 PSI. is that enough??

vacuum boosters put out around 1500#s and hydroboost over 2000#s

thanks guys. ill have to do some measuring and then see about ordering me some new lines so i can get one step closer to driving it
