good replacement carb????

I'd like to get a carb with better driving manners than my old worn out Rochester 1 barrel. Anyone have experience with the Weber 2 barrels?

something like this:

There is a 2 barrel to one barrel adapter that I know of.

Re: good replacement carb????

The Edelbrock I took off my 1971 was crap, so i started asking mechanics what to get. Everyone said get a rebuilt QuadraJet, and that the Edelbrocks are known for long starts and rough idling. I bought a QJ from National Carburetor and it made the truck run great. Starts right up, idles beautifully. No more Edelbrocks for me.
