carbon monoxide

Ever since I've gotten the a/c working in the truck there would always be a strong engine scent coming through the vents. I have even sometimes gotten dizzy and had headaches. Does anyone know where the a/c can be sucking it in from? I've checked around the evaporative box and everything seems to be sealed up pretty good. There were a few rust holes on the engine wall for which I have covered up. Anybody have any ideas?

Re: carbon monoxide

was your cab AC before?
did you hook up the pass side vent to it?
or hood to cab seal?
how is the area down the sides of the cab
below the name badge area, but under the fender
a friends dad put his shop vac sucking out of the otherwise sealed up car,
used insence along the firewall, couldnt see a leak under the wiper motor, but saw smoke from inside

Re: carbon monoxide

Try spraying some Febreeze through your air ducts on the cowl with the fan on high and see if that freshens it up.

By CO, I'm assuming you mean an exhaust smell?
