requesting options for check engine light 'delete'
I just did some work to my truck this past week. replaced the carb and distributor. therefor the check engine light smack dab in the middle of the dash board is not necessary and for the time being it is lit, brightly during driving time.
I seen a guy on this board who changed his light to say something interesting when he starts the truck. I would like to do something similar but different. I considered removing the light altogether and replacing the dash bezel with a non check engine light bezel but i think i want to keep the light in place and mount my hands free microphone in the other half of the light fixture. in short i am looking for some interesting suggestions as to what i can do with what i have. Thanks in advance. -Izzy
