rear hitch?

I am wanting to put a rear hitch on my jimmy for a pulling point, as well protection of my oversized rear gas tank.

Will the one LMC sells for trucks clear the angle down of the frame?
I known one of the other users took a bolt together 73+ trucks, swapped sides and shimmed it out?

Re: rear hitch?

I heard that a 88/3500 hitch bolts right up/ I think I read that some where before

Re: rear hitch?

I researched back to the user that swapped sides. Got this part number and that exact part number was on ebay for much cheaper then LMC's. So its on its way!!

Re: rear hitch?

This is what I used for my Blazer...

http://www.uhaul.com/MovingSupplies/...tches/?install (click the "find hitches" on the page)

Very happy with the look, towing capacity and installed it in less then an hour requiring me to only drill 2 holes. Shipping was free (224.00 total) and I got it in like 10 days.
