I'm also interested to see the responses to this question as I have a new set waiting to be installed. I hope they fit better than the metal visor I just installed on my truck.

not trying to hyjack the thread but....Russell....where did you get your visor? The one I got I had to reshape a bit to get it to fit. I imagine only one manufacturer is making them. Mine came from classic parts

I bought the first one from Obsolete Chevy Parts, in Nashville, Ga. but will be returning it because it fit so poorly. I ordered another one from LMC. It came in the same box as the first, with a "CounterPart" label on the box, and fit as poorly as the first one did. The curved ends don't match the curvature of the truck cab. They were both made in the same place, and had identical "made in Taiwan" stickers in the same location. I started to return both but I really wanted the visor so I tweaked it until I got it screwed on and fitting OK. I have some final fitting to do but mainly wanted to get it mounted while I had the windshield out. I got the drivers side fitting pretty well but it appears that I will have to put some filler on the passenger side to get the curve to match the cab. I removed the visor for the windshield installation so will have to finish it later this week. The truck is in the shop now getting the windshield installed.
You have to really want this stuff to put up with it. So far I have just over $50 in shipping for these two visors and will spend another $25-$30 to ship the first one back.

Re: 55 to 59 reproduction vent windows?

Do you need the whole assembly or just the vent piece?

I'm not sure how extensively I need mine rebuilt, but let's hear more about the one piece glass. I thought i'd read it was a real pain to get it to work right?
