65 panel build question
Anyone out there know how or have a clue or Pics on how to Hinge the front clip on a 65 to tilt forward. I am doing a complete tare down and I am entertaining hinging my front end. I think it looks cool to show.

There was a thread here awhile back where a guy had a tilt front end on his truck after installing a v-12 into it. Ill see if I can find the thread.

Here is a link to a company that has fiberglass tilt front ends. Are you looking at fiberglass or metal? Im still looking for the other link. This link shows their hinge kit.

I started converting to a one piece tilt front end on my '63 about 34 years ago......just never finished it. I removed the factory radiator support mounts and incorporated them into a heavy boxed in hinge, with the pivot on the bottom. I think I still have them at the shop somewhere. You will have to cut the fenders at an angle from the lower rear corner of the hood, and then weld in a stiffener on both sides of that cut.
