just got back from the track :)

well it got quicker with each run....best time was 12.95 @ 101..No nitrous.. the great thing was...1.82 60 foot time. I think I need to have the carb calabrated for the extra cubes and cam..felt like it was running out of gas on the top end.

what does your truck weigh in at theres a guy in town whos truck is 2500 LBS he ahs a olds 455 headers cam intake fastest hes ran is 13.89

I just built a 385 with a solid cam and proaction 200cc heads..and a 4000 stall converter....which is way fun

Way to go Jim!. I didn't know about the new motor, I thought you just got new heads for the 355!. I remember when you were running high 14's.

That's pretty impressive. I note you said no nitrous. Wonder what it would do if you did use nitrous. Sounds like fun either way.

Sounds like the new motor is running good. The 60' times look good. Did you ever run the 355 with the 4000 stall converter?
