First car show with the Jimmy
I put my Jimmy in my first car show this past weekend. Had a really good time there. I got a lot of compliments and had several people that asked to get in and take a picture. Had a few people even ask if i cut the cab and added a back seat since i had the top off, haha. Mine was the only one there and the only 4wd there. There was a '72 GMC and a '72 Chevy c/10 there. I do believe that i will be doing that again. I had it all shinned up looking nice then when i left there i took it to some mud races (not to race, just to watch). Well leaving there didn't go quite like i had planned, the only way out was through a little bit of mud. Needless to say, it's not quite as clean anymore but hey, that's why i have 4wd.

Sweet ride! The green with khaki interior is my favorite. Any pictures of the interior?

Re: First car show with the Jimmy
Thanks, it's a 4" pro comp lift with 33x12.50x15 BF Goodwrench all terrain tires. Not sure what brand the wheels are. I have plans in the near future to go with some new polished wheels and i am considering going to 35" tires.

From one green goblin to another, that is one sweet ride bro. I'd like to take a look at the mirrors you're rocking. Guessing that's just a difference in GMC & Chevy? The originals on my 71 are really tight, but so small I'm thinking of making a change.
FYI: I don't think your photos showed up from your last post. I'm having issues loading them as well. |

Nice! Just need to get rid of those Ford mirrors in favor of some original GM ones.

Re: First car show with the Jimmy
Those mirrors are actually just $20 Oreilly's special. I searched for weeks and couldn't find ones to match what was on there, may have not been factory already, so i found these that fit right on my brackets so I went with them

Re: First car show with the Jimmy
Try 640x480 resolution for pics. The board is undergoing changes. Nice truck.

Re: First car show with the Jimmy
I use the windows image resizer. Download the one for your windows version then just right click image to resize. If not using windows download irfanview which has a resizer.
