Fronts should be 66000. All are 1.25" width. Wilwood part numbers will be determined by color choice.

Re: Wilwood D52 Calipers ??
Sorry can't help on the rotor sizes but I say u need a park brake no matter what kind of trans it is. Have u ever seen what the transmission pawl is in a automatic. It's not much! The tip wears out over time also.
Not knowing your exact one this basicly is all that holds your truck from ending up at the bottom of the hill head on into a tree. I have been a witness to 2 of them failing herd a pop and the truck starts rolling. They were both 350 auto's. One was a friends car in the drive way, I caught it right before it went over the road.

While on the subject of Wilwood calipers. It has always been my understanding that "upgrading" the performance of a caliper meant that the area of the piston must be increased. Maybe I am just all wrong in hits though process. The stock truck calipers from 71-87 1/2 and 3/4ton all have a piston diameter of 2 15/16"(2.9375"). This gives a working area of 6.77in^2. So, with that in mind, how is the Wilwood a performance option when it is a reduction in area? I will agree that they definitely look better than the stock calipers. |

Re: Wilwood D52 Calipers ??
Thank you Keith. That was a typo on the front rotor. Correct PN is 66000.
So then these are my PN for the black D 52 calipers. Front: 120-10936-BK Rear: 120-10938-BK Pardon the dumb newbie questions. This internal parking brake shown above has an integrated bracket. (Not being able to use Capt Fabs brackets) ???? Thank you guys for all your help and knowledge. And oh yea. I'm in S. Fla. we don't have any hills here. Posted via Mobile Device |

The internal parking brake Wilwood kit (like you posted) has a different smaller caliper,... and will come with it's own caliper bracket. (I guess you could always sell the CaptainFab brackets, if you decide to go that route)

Re: Wilwood D52 Calipers ??
When you say wide front is it because the rotors see thicker? I was planning on ordering the caption fab brackets this week.
Do you know the PN for the wilwood kit with the ebrake like the one above? Or what other options are there for ebrake ? I'm trying to keep it as low budget as possible by putting together a kit. Quote:

Re: Wilwood D52 Calipers ??
What rearend are you using?
There is a 11" and 12" rear disc brake kit (with internal parking brake) from Wilwood for a stock '72 rearend. Go to wilwood.com to find out what is needed. They make more kits and bigger brakes. Wilwoods site is really easy to navigate.

1" wide rotors or 1.25" rotors. Your CPP Spindle: CP30106-4 require the wider 1.25" rotors. The front calipers I listed fit these rotors. The rear calipers I listed fit the Astro Van AWD rotors you listed, as long as you use the Captain Fab brackets.

Re: Wilwood D52 Calipers ??
Good info in here. I have considered the rear disc/Wilwood calipers upgrade. Thanks for the part numbers.

Re: Wilwood D52 Calipers ??
My rear end is a 12 bolt. As far as getting bigger brakes. I'm looking for something that I can possibly run smaller wheels in the meantime (during the build process) Or at least not have to only run much larger sizes.
Link didn't work for me. Good thing is. I Havnt ordered any of the parts yet. Thanks for your help again. Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: Wilwood D52 Calipers ??
Wilwood makes a Dynalight kit with the parking brake built in. Like the one you posted for the chevelle. The caliper and rotor won't match front to back if you use the brake performance rotors and d52 calipers on the front, they will be close but not exact.
