Where to get a new radiator for 6.2D
Radiator started to leak. I have trouble finding any kind of new radiator here in Finland, so I guess I`ll have to order it from the USA. I remember seeing Diesel radiator in LMC truck katalog, but they dont seem to sell them anymore.
Ebay is checked too, I only found aluminium radiator with plastic tanks, no thanks. So, the best option for me is original style copper/brass radiator because I want to keep my truck as original as possible. But if thats impossible, an all aluminium radiator is an option too.. core size is 34"x19"x3" Any ideas? Thanks, Ville

I'd try n repair it as shipping would require an arm, leg, and probably an eye to pay for it. Is it leaking from the middle or side tanks?

Re: Where to get a new radiator for 6.2D
Hi, thanks for your answers. It seems to be leaking somewhere near left side tank, the drain is wet and the core from the bottom near the tank.
I dont have good experiences from radiator repairs, I have also a 1966 mustang, and it cost 70 euros (100 dollars) to repair the radiator, and it leaked when the engine warmed up. The repairman also said it needed a new core, and said it would be 300 euros, I got new copper/brass radiator for 280 euros.. I know it can be expensive to ship. Does anyone know is it possible to G20 or G30 vans have the same radiators? There are plenty of those here in Finland. pickup trucks with diesels are more rarer.

Re: Where to get a new radiator for 6.2D
I just had to buy one for my CUCV which is the 6.2 I got mine from Advance auto parts it fit well and everything hooked in easily but it is the plastic aluminum job as opposed to the good brass one the petcock is also a cheap plastic piece of junk too

Re: Where to get a new radiator for 6.2D
I just bought and put this radiator in my 6.2l rig. All the connections were there, in the right place, and I haven't had any issues. That radiator plus a new thermostat keeps my truck under 200degress at all times. I don't har any complaints. Also you can use coupon code: GAPCPN127 To save 25$ off of your order.

Re: Where to get a new radiator for 6.2D
Radiator ordered. A friend of mine owns a garage that repairs USA cars, and he knew a place where to get copper/brass radiator. Dont know who made it, but he said its made in canada.
Was expensive. Very expensive. Posted via Mobile Device
