Looking for a picture of rear view mirror
Hi Noobie want to hang a rear view mirror in my 63 fleetside
any one have a picture of a stock set up ....thanks ....S |

Factory day/night in my '64. Mirror head is upside down 'cause I'm tall and it blocks my view the right way.

Not to mention with the small back window, it has to hang low to to be able to see any distance behind you.

My mirror is hardly lie enough for me to see the car behind me last alone be on"the look out ". It's fun tho. I want visors tho, I have the holes so it must have had them at some point. Any info on which ones are best?

If you look back at the pic of my mirror you will notice my visor pad doesn't clear the mirror. It's an old pad of unknown origin that I put on my stock rod just for looks since I'm too tall for the visor too. It's a matter of finding something that works, or going original.

Adding fuel to the fire, there were two rear view mirrors optioned. Standard and Non Glare. 1963 Chevrolet had a flared knob that you twisted to activate the glare- non glare feature. 1964 had a flipper style. I have seen the flared and flipper style in original boxes sharing the same part number.

Dave maybe you have panel visors I remeber my 63 panel had longer visor that would hit the Rear mirror .  . . . . . pics of my 63 C10 .  .  . .
