Th400 shudders in reverse
Hey,
I had my th400 rebuilt a few years ago and then I parked the truck for a while. Probably less than 15000km's since then. I noticed while backing up the driveway the other day that the tranny was shuddering pretty bad. I've only noticed it occurring in reverse so far. What do you guys think? 454/th400/np203 with some sort of shift kit

Start by checking the fluid level

thanks, I'll have a gander. there has been tranny fluid in small concentrations on my tranny pan over the last while. Do these things take dexron or mercon?
