suburban back seats....

i have access to seats from a 1997 suburban. The second row and third row. Not sure which ones fit best. The seller says the second row has a built in armrest and the third row is smaller. Are these almost bolt in? Thanks

Re: suburban back seats....

just measure the width between your blazers wheel wells and measure the seats and if one fits youll have to make brackets of course

Re: suburban back seats....

I think it's the third row that fits in our blazers. The newer trucks had a wider second seat than our blazers. As was said you will need to build brackets as well to fit it. Ours doesn't have the drop floor for foot room in front of the rear seats.

Re: suburban back seats....

I just installed a third row seat from a 93 suburban in my 72 blazer this week. It fits perfectly. Obviously you will need to make some brackets to make it mount safely. Also got the two front seats in the deal. Fabbed up some custom brackets to keep the passenger seat folding forward like the original. I like it, it does sit a little higher than the original and if you are tall and hit a bump you may hit your head on the rollbar. Not bad for $200.

That seat looks good there. I don't like the ones with a headrest. Those look way outa place with the top off. Nice blazer hotrodhomi.
