Crossing over to the dark side...

Well I've always been a 67-72 guy but ran upon a 60 apache that tweaked my interest....here are the pics....currently a long bed but found a matching short bed to swap out has factory big back glass and side trim...rounded up all the short trim pieces except one....plan on keeping the patina look changing inside to red, dropping in ls drivetrain and some wheels....what do y'all think?

Re: Crossing over to the dark side...

Let me see if I can help Leroy.

Great looking truck and a very hard to find trim package w/the back of cab trim, windshield trim and it still has the cast iron mirror arm. Nice find

Re: Crossing over to the dark side...

Thanks for fixing those for me....I had to buy most all of the side trim was hard to find...still need one piece but have most of it....going to swap the frame to a 63-66 frame I have and am going to do it up right before swapping....I have an 87 Chevy truck front stub and a posi rear from a 69 c10 that I'm going to convert to 5 lug....I've never did a bag set up only static but think this may be my first attempt

Re: Crossing over to the dark side...

No problem. The offset mirror heads are original and getting tougher to find. Make sure to keep it.

the small round outside mirror, the mounting point is not in the center( which is original)... the only repro that you can get mounts in the center, which is not correct for (us) o.e. guys...
