Diesel guys especially CUCV
ok while fooling around with the CUCV I found the following things.. that ground I guess I should just ground off? and what the heck is that part in the other picture
Finally got the CUCV to start and run using the doghead starter relay mod... She drove well.. She's at my friends shop getting the once over on the front end and fluids changed ( there's a lift there so its a lot easier) but while monkeying around I found those issues..

The part you are unsure of is the glow plug inhibit switch. Once the coolant in the head is up to a set temp. the glow plugs will not come on when starting hot. Saves on your batteries and extends the life of the plugs.
