power assist steering question
What years do power assist steering fit. I have a unit from a 1967 and it does not seem to fit my 1964 shortbed.

Re: power assist steering question
It is a slave unit. Are the frame brackets the same? My steering was from a 67 GMC will they fit a 64 Chevrolet C10?

Re: power assist steering question
As far as I know, the steering box on a '67 GMC bolts up differently than on a '64 Chevy. The frame bracket bolts up to the same bolts as the steering box.

Re: power assist steering question
That seems to be our problem. The steering shaft to the column is longer on the 67.
