B&M trick shift atf
Hello, i just installed a new torque converter in my 69 C10 and when i bought the converter it said other things you might need and i saw the trick shift and ordered it also cause it sounded like it was good stuff. Is it a good product? Will it actually improve shifts? Will it hurtmy transmission? Thanks for any feedback.
I have a turbo 350 tranny and 350 small block |

Dex III would be fine....I prefer Shaefers synthetic but usually hard to find. Am soil or royal Purple are also good stuff. The main thing is changing it as scheduled.

Re: B&M trick shift atf
It's the same as type F (trick shift). Said so in my instructions. Dextron allows too much slippage on shifts. (TH400 install kit)

It's fine. It's just not as slippery as Dextron. It's a cheap man's shift kit.

Re: B&M trick shift atf
Ok thanks. I actually plan on putting a shift kit in early next year. So you said add friction modifier, is it just one quart im adding? Or is there a certain amount you add? And is it just added to the tranny fluid you already have in tranny? I appreciate all the help, im new to alot of this and learning as i go along.
