454 heads
Anyone have any idea what heads come on a stock 86 454 in a C30? Mainly just square or oval port is what im curious about. was thinking of ordering a new intake.

Peanut port, though an oval intake, I've read, will work.

my truck is an 83 and it has 049 large ovals, i dont think peanuts started until 85 or 86

Sounds like i need to find an excuse to put on a different set of valve covers so I can get the casting numbers. Lol

mid 80's to 1990 "Peanut" ports
