Interchangeable Hoods for 73 Cheyenne ???
I'm just starting a project and need a new hood. What years and makes (GMC?) are interchangeable with a 1973 Cheyenne?

73-80 all work. Just try to find an original gm hood so it doesn't have that dumb 81 bump on the front. The gm hoods are smooth and looks way better. I went the aftermarket way and wish i had taken the time to find/fix a gm.

Actually the Gm hoods had the bump too I believe 73-6/7? Were smooth and 77/8-80 had that bump factory

the 79 hood had that leading edge on the front. In the day it was advertized a a "erodynamic feture that they were introducing? I'm not sure if it worked?But,in the name of progress?

I didn't know that the original gm replacement parts had the bump also. I learned something today.
