Rear disk conversions

All,

Looking for some advice, I have done two conversions and really not satisfied with either.

I am about to change the prop valve out on my truck to an adjustable one because I think the rear brakes are not where they should be. My question is, should the rear lines also be changed out to smaller diameter lines or will the adjustable prop valve take care of that?

Brakes have been bled to death, no air, no leaks. Have the Camaro kit on one truck and a CPP kit on the other. Everything is new on both systems from lines to calipers.

on disc / disc the lines should all be the same diameter.

Did you replace the master cylinder for one set up for 4 wheel disc?

The guy from SSBS told me that a MC and distribution block/prop valve from a 4 wheel drum truck will work but you might need to add an adjustable prop valve to the rear.

I used disc /disc master, no prop valve, smaller lines to the rear and a 2lb. residual valve at the connection at passenger frame rail for the rear most hard line. Works GREAT!

Jim,
It stops, just doesn't feel right, the Camaro calipers feel a lot better than the CCP kit.
