off-the-shelf fuel filters

I'm looking for an off-the shelf, threaded inlet/outlet inline fuel filter. prefer -6 or 1/4" npt.

I'm trying to avoid the aftermarket fuel filters like aeromotive, holley, etc. but it looks like that's about all that available.

ideally something widely available. any ideas?

thanks folks!

Re: off-the-shelf fuel filters

also looking for input on some sort of anti-theft fuel shut-off. i leave the truck parked at trailheads for extended periods of time.

mechanical valve? hidden relay to kill the fuel pump?

open to ideas...

Re: off-the-shelf fuel filters

Are you having a convo with yourself on your own thread?

You have to be patient with people replying to your thread for help and what not, I've gone several days without anyone giving any feedback.

There is a corvette fuel filter/regulator that a lot of people are using, but it only will work right if your fuel rails are the return less type.

Re: off-the-shelf fuel filters

I just put a hidden rocker switch on a circuit wire that if w/o power would keep the engine from starting.

Can't go into too much detail......kind of hard for a guy to give up his security system by detailing it on a forum.

Re: off-the-shelf fuel filters

I just take my pcm out. But in all honesty, if I'm stealing a classic car....its not a crime of opportunity. A flatbed will net you anything with 4 wheels that you want.
