87 gas tank
Where are you guys buying new tanks? I was looking at getting one from rock auto but the descriptions are not real clear.

Is there a difference between the passenger tank and driver side tank? They look the same from under the truck.

When i ordered my tank i used an 87 suburban tAnk and was going to vet it from rock autoo as they had a killer price but their shipping killed the deal i just ordered it from the local parts store

Check Doreman and a tank for the side of the truck you have the filler on.
my 78 is a passenger side fill , check your hose size and the new tank hose size (filler)

I am still waiting on mine from LKQ, I was quoted 120.00 for a tank and sender delivered.

When I bought my dual tanks for my 85 shortbed they were both the same. I cant remember where i bought them from.

I went ahead a ordered a 87 tank and a 87 passenger side sending unit from rock auto. I ordered a walbro 255 intank pump from fuelpumpfactory.com also.

I just ordered a blazer tank thru rockauto this eve. Tank: GM15C and sending unit: FG12K. Have an Aeromotive 340 pump on the shelf I plan on stuffing into the factory 87 bucket.
