Cab supports
How do the front cab rubber mounts come off, or how does the cab separate from the rubber mounts. I'm planning to pull my cab and just wanted to know how before I got myself into something that I don't really know about, it's a 3 speed on the column, 1971, 2wd c10. My cab has a bolt running down through the floor(factory) and just wanted to know do they just run down through rubber pieces into the actual mount on the frame then have a nut that tightens it all?

You will probably find that the head of the front bolts are tack welded to the floor. If so you will need to grind the spot weld off. It can be hard to get to but I did mine with my Dremel with one of the diamond disk wheels on it.. LockDoc
