Don't get me wrong, it's a very nice looking Blazer, but holy crap, is there anyone out there that would actually pay that?

It's at $7,100 now. I was wondering what the problem was. Post #5 cleared it up.
That's a very nice looking Blazer.

Re: 1973 Blazer on e-bay not mine!!! I hope it's a typo?
haha! That guy drank too much of the kool-aid!!! Truck is worth $17k tops.
Seats have been recovered, wrong console, engine is wrong color so its been out and most importantly, the OD reads 5,800 NOT 58,000 which means it has over 100k on it or just 5800 miles. Could have bought this one 2 months ago for $29k with 14k on it. Last edited by Irish1941; 03-17-2014 at 09:36 PM. |

Re: 1973 Blazer on e-bay not mine!!! I hope it's a typo?
Am I crazy, or does the seller not know how to read an odometer? Doesn't the picture show 05810.9, which would suggest 5,800 miles past 100K right? Definitely not the 58K as stated.
My guess is that they just don't know, or why post the photo. Also, what is the deal with the console? I did not catch that until Irish1941 mentioned it, but I don't recognize the lid. What years used that recessed lock? The cupholder part looks like a 77(78?) to 80.

Re: 1973 Blazer on e-bay not mine!!! I hope it's a typo?
Yep. You saw correct. It has over 100k on it.
Guy is a dealer, check out his feedback. He knows what he's selling. Took a clean truck, painted it, replaced way too much on it for too much money and now it's for sale as something it isn't. That console isn't a factory one. Factory never used a recessed lock. Aftermarket from LMC aimed at '69-72 Blazer guys. |
