WI Wanted bardon bumpers need 3 can get home from california

I know this could be a long shot but Im looking for a few Bardon rear bumpers. Would like one short bed fleetside and two long bed fleetside straight bumpers. I have two trucks coming home from Ca. and they could ride in the back if you can get them there. One is in Auburn Ca. and the other is in Avenal Ca . If you have one let me know. Looking for clean and straight or easy fix. Also if theres any here in the Midwest Wi, IL ,Ia, Missouri, Ks. let me know, I do travel. Thanks

Just saw one I think, grandson (Josh) and I were out driving today, Josh says "stop turn around" he had spotted a 1964' stepper short bed parked on a business lawn off in the distance. We went back to look at at it, belonged to worker putting on new roof. May have had the bumper looking for, is the name of bumper stamped into it? This one had two words , one on each side of center line. It looked really cool, it fit really nice to the truck.

Not going to believe this one since above post. Thought, will drive back to site where we saw the above truck, and take a picture.

Driving back to site one stop light away, on cross street, sitting their with red light in my direction, and the truck drives by me on perpendicular road to the one I am on! At least I got one more look at.

I have some 4x4 pickup projects and want something other than the sport bumper. Id like to replace the chrome bumper on my gold truck also but for that I cant use the wrap around style. Doesn't have to be a Bardon exactly.

That bumper appears to be mounted upside-down. Don't know if it had a special name, but that type allows the gate to hang plumb, handy for some loading situations.

Lol...yeah sorry anytime I upload photos from my phone on this site only that happens....the bumper sits flush under the back almost and wraps around the sides...still has the sleeves used to separate it from the body on it. ..going to scrap if no one wants....I kinda dig the look so may keep it but think I'm going chrome...appears to be for shortbed or made for either

Is there a difference between a short bed bumper and a long bed bumper? I thought the only difference was between step and fleetsides.

Leroy it could very possibly be this company that made that one, I have the same one on a 65 4x4 .






The difference in a Complete Barden style bumper short to long is where it wraps around and bolts to the sides behind wheel well is, the length of the side of the bumper for short vs long bed.

Hi I am new to this site and the game...I noticed you have a "wanted 64-66 panel" request. I do not want to sell my 65' but you seem very knowledgeable on the subject so I have a question if you got the time or info...
I am missing an interior sheet metal part that runs the roofline on both sides from front to back. I do not know the name of the piece let alone the part number to be able to research or request it...when I try to describe it to people they look at me rather oddly. I am in need of the passenger side piece. I believe that the Suburbans probably have the same pieces but haven't confirmed this...can you help me identify the piece...in a 60's catalog a piece called a header has a right and left version but I do not know if this is the piece I need. Hope you or another reader can help me with this as it is one of the last pieces I need to finish the panel. Thanks, Jon
