Got another new short bed...
Hey guys. I bought another short bed. I've had a bunch. I've been a member for a while but haven't posted. I was hoping you all could tell me what drop you think this has on it and if there would be any issues with a 20-18 wheels set up. Wanted to do a 295/40/20 in the rear and a 245/45/18 in the front. Thanks guys.

Re: Got another new short bed...
That looks to be at least a 4/6 drop. Unfortunately I have no experience with big wheels like that, so I'm no help. Beautiful truck!

Re: Got another new short bed...
Good looking truck!
Reminds me of mine. You might use a tire calculator to get the diameter of your current tires & then you could get a similar diameter tire for an 18 or 20. |

Re: Got another new short bed...
Great looking truck!
I would run a 20x8.5 (5.5 bs) and a 20x10 (5.5bs) if it was mine. 245/40 and 295/40.

Re: Got another new short bed...
Thanks man... I know. It's funny, I love forums...I've built and owned a bunch of rides over the years and been in a bunch of forums....one thing is always the same in all of them. Half the people love what you do and half hate it. Different strokes!
On another note...My wifes family is from Hazard Kentucky. What's your last name? Know any Brashear's or Browing's? |

Re: Got another new short bed...
Having built & owned a truck that was eerily similar, I'd do 20's all around. If 8.5" fronts, 5.25"bs clears the wheel well lip fine & minimizes the amount of issue w/the lower a-arm scrubbing. 10" rears w/a 5" bs would be dead center.

That is a sweet ass truck. It will look great either way but I am a rally fan first. Congrats.
