88 Chev Crew Cab build in Oz
Hello, i've been looking at Chevytrucks.com for a while now and been wanting a Crew Cab for years, finally got one I tried to get a 4x4 imported, with no luck, so i had to buy a 2wd one here and will convert to 4x4.
Any information would be great on what front diff- dana 40, 60? I want a 5.9 Cummins and a 5spd gearbox and transfer case to suit 4x4, what are my best options? I've read the NV4500 & NP205 Transfer or a G56 Transfer are suitable... I'm not sure what parts i can get here is Australia... At the moment i have a turbo 400 and a 454 in it. Here are some pics to get started! I will post pics as i build |

Nice looking truck to start with! RH drive vehicles always makes me start looking at the pictures closer, but I'm sure you do the same thing when you see our LH drives.
