disc brake wheel fitment

As of right now i plan getting the Mcgaughys disc brake kit from Azproperformance with the 2 inch spindles, M/c, lines and all for my 66 c10. I want to leave it 6 lug as well. Now my question is what company makes 15 smoothies that will clear? Im looking at wheels vinteque series 12 smoothie 15X7 with a 4in back spacing. I just want to make sure before before i order everything.

i have searched and know about drum wheels dont fit and people use 4x4 wheels, but that not the look i wanna go for.

Re: disc brake wheel fitment

I am running Cragar Smoothies, 15x7 up front and 15x8 in the rear. 235/70/15 and 275/60/15, both sit at 28 inches tall. I have 2" drop spindles up front and 3" dropped springs in the back. The front fit fine but the rear calipers rub just slightly. I added 1" adapters in the back widening the rear stance and clearing the rotors. They are adapters that bolt on with lug nuts and then the wheels bolt on to separate stud with lug nut, so there shouldn't be any problems like spacers. I am painting the truck so it hasn't gotten a lot of miles on it but it is built from the frame up. Any questions, just let me know, I'm a couple of hundred miles south of you.
