Why would my swb have a lwb brake hose?

I purchased a new brake hose from napa. The threads on the axle matched up but the threads on the frame don't.They gave me the correct hose but looking at their website I think my truck uses the lwb thread size.Has any body else ran into this?

There is no welding or grinding to indicate the frame was shortened.I have been told about short beds having a having a heavy half ton option.

The brake hose threads should be the same long or short. Length may be diff tho. Maybe the PO put new lines with something diff on it.

It should be a 1/4" line long or short wheel base. I have one of each and both have the same size lines.

I had the same issue on mine. Don't know why it is what it is.
