I used to have a Geo Storm. It was a graduation present from dad. Great transportation. Mine drove me from Southern Oregon to Anchorage, Alaska and back three months later.
Just a tidbit of info...the exhaust manifolds on those have a tendency to crack. It's a relatively cheap and very easy fix. I replaced mine in about 30 minutes with my car parked in the street when I was 19 with no help.

For 500 bucks, you really can't go wrong. Heck I sold my 86 Honda Accord hatchback that had over 220,000 miles on it and the floor was rusted out in the back, there was no carpet inside because of the holes in the floor, and the passenger seat had a rip in it on the back by the headrest. Body was rusting around the fenders and quarters.
But it ran like a champ yet, didn't use oil but it leaked it bad, and it still got 30+ miles to the gallon in town. I still managed to get 200 bucks out of that thing. You'll miss the V-8 power, but for reliable day to day transportation, that is a good bang for 500 bucks!

Sounds like a good deal to me!!! Wish I could have found something like that when I was fixing up my '75. Probably wouldn't have sold it if I had.

Sounds like a good deal to me. Hey I'm looking for another car to use as a daily driver also. If your dad gets any more cars like that for around the same price send me over a PM or email. I found an 84 Accord in the paper for $300 but I'm sure its gone now. I'm still going to call though after I get back from Rose State today to see if I can get accepted up there.

He he he he he. You are real funny.
At least 10,000 comedians are out of work, and here you are in here trying to be funny. You should have tried out for The Last Comic Standing. Besides, my wife want let me have a younger woman. I've already asked and she just gave me that look. She then asked why did I want a younger woman anyway. I couldn't even take care of her. Ouch!! That hurt too.
