clear bedliner?

Does anyone make a clear DIY bedliner?

I want to paint the strips in the flatbed I'm building but want to give it some protection from scuffs and such.

Both line-x and rhino told me they won't guarantee a color match unless it's a factory color. Plus the fact I would have to transport the bed to them because the truck is not a roller at this point. I think clear DIY would be best if it exists.

Re: clear bedliner?

You can buy "Raptor" bed liner in clear; or you can add an ounce of base color before you spray it to match your paint.

Easy to spray........

Re: clear bedliner?

Man, the notion of a clear bedliner really has me interested. This would be a great idea for the guys with patina'd trucks who still want to use the bed and not tear up the original wood.

I would love to see what it looks like in clear. I'm curious if it's shiny or if it has a matte finish.

I don't think it comes in clear. Black and Tintable. Tintable I believe is actually white, which then allows you to mix colors into it, to color match paint. If you don't tint is, you'll end up with white.

I agree, easy to spray but make sure you get the Raptor gun.
