Reply from Stacy David (Copperhead)

This what I wrote:

I am one of the many people on the http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/
website that would love to buy a Project Copperhead full length tape or DVD
when you are finished. We would like a full, uncut prduction with all the
little problems you ran into. Will this be possible? I guarantee you will
sell many of these if produced. Let me know if you can.

Thanks.

This is what was written back:

Stacey has heard your request and he is working on it.

TNN owns the rights to the show tapes which is why RTM Productions stopped
selling videos of the shows. Stacey does have a meeting with his Executive
Producer on Monday and will broach the subject of making project compilation
videos at that time.

Glad you enjoy the show. Keep watchin and keep on truckin

Well that's a good start at least. Hopefully they will agree and make a Project Copperhead tape or DVD.

i don't know why anybody would want to spend the money on that show on dvd??? he's not really showing you how to do anything except spend money !! in fact alot of the parts he shows off are just ads and never really make it onto the project vehicles
anybody notice when he was pretending to put on the fenders in this weeks episode that they didn't put the seals in that are by the door hinges???
SAVE YOUR MONEY BUY YOURSELF A GOOD TOOL !!!!

cdowns....I have never seen anyone use those fender to cab seals yet. The new ones are thin and don't really do much. Maybe he new that. Also to speed up time for taping he may just slide stuff on and install it properly later.

I got the same feedback also.I'm not in anyway taking up for Stacy as far as him never getting his hands dirty but by looking at his profile on the site they atleast make it look like he's a long time hotrodder.

YEP ---- STACYS PROBABLY NOT THE MOST ACOMPLISHED MECHANIC IN THE WORLD TO DATE (I'M NOT SURE WHO IS). BUT IT IS A GREAT AND INFORMATIVE SHOW IN MY OPINION, & THIS GUY HAS GOT THE ABSOLUTE BEST JOB THAT I KNOW OF. I ENJOY EVERY EPISODE, & DON'T TRY TO PICK IT APART. THEY PUT KNOBS ON T.V. SETS NOW, FOR PEOPLE TO CHANGE CHANNELS IF THEY DON'T LIKE THE PROGRAMMING OF A PARTICULAR CHANNEL.

If they didn't advertize they couldn't fund the show, so when they push products just take it with a grain of salt, I look past all the sales pitches and pay attention to the cool stuff, actually the best way to watch all those cool car show be it trucks, horsepower tv, or two guys garage, is I tape them and just fast forward all the crap

I just wish TNN didn't own the rights. They've turned into a bunch of weenies that screw up everything they touch.
