What Bolt holes line up in a 2wd conversion?
I think I worded it right, anyways I'm wanting to know what bolt holes if any would line up into a 4wd frame to a 2wd engine crossmember? I'm getting to tackle to front half of my 2wd conversion on my '69. Here are some pics to give an idea of what I'm up against.

Sorry to say but none of the holes line up to the 2WD suspension crossmember, you will have to drill them all.

Measure five times, double check that and drill, drill, drill. Cutting oil and good bits will help.

I don't know if this is detailed enough, but here is an article that sporttruck magazine did on the conversion. http://www.sporttruck.com/techarticl...wd_conversion/

The Sports truck article was a basic guide and skipped over more than a few things. I used center of radiator support holes to measure off. Here is a thread with some idea's.... 67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/showthread.php?t=541514

Drilling that first hole will pucker your butt...
These guys have nailed it though...measure a bunch of times to make sure you're putting it where you want it.
