Fleetside tail light bezels

I had asked this question quite some time ago, and received varied answer's but they were not helpful so I thought I would try again. Does anyone in the aftermarket make a bezel of SS instead of the tinfoil or aluminum one's found on the vehicle? These dent and scratch so easy that in awhile they look crappy. I slipped with a screwdriver installing the taillight screw and put a big dent in them without much force at all, they look much better without them IMO so what does anyone else think about the aluminum bezels?...Vernski

I have never seen stainless re-pops used for 64-66 trim. All of the trim and moldings made of aluminum for these trucks are very fragile and not worth the time to repair correctly and re-pops are thinner yet. Use extreme caution when handling.

Re: Fleetside tail light bezels

I'm sure this has been thought of before but here goes.
A friend of mine makes aluminum license plate frames for Harleys with his CNC machine then gets them chrome plated. As with every thing else the first one would take a bit to program but after that you sit back and let the machine do it's thing.
Not sure how much of a market there is for this but you would end up with a solid piece of chrome.

Re: Fleetside tail light bezels

Yes they could be CNC machined from billet aluminum, but they would be a bit spendy.
