Column to floor shift conversion

I'm working on an 82 2wd blazer. It currently has a 700r4 that got filled up with water from a bad radiator. I am kicking around the idea of swapping it over to a standard transmission like a super T-10. I have sourced a floor shift tilt column and hydraulic clutch assembly. I expect to have to build/modify the crossmember, but what else is different? Will my main underdash harness work? I can think of the neutral safety switch and backup light switch being different. Are these connectors separate from the main harness or should I swap all the dash harness? I searched on here a little but didn't come up with too many answers.

Re: Column to floor shift conversion

I wouldn't switch the harness for the simple changes you need to make. Reverse lights and neutral safety go through the column switch. Unplug it and wire from it as necessary.
