Hydro clutch giving out
I took my 62 in to the muffler shop today and when I was loading on the trailer the clutch went out. I lost the pedal and it went to the floor. I pumped it up and I got it back. It works fine until I keep my foot on it and then it gives out. I think it's the either the slave or master cylinder. I don't think it;s the clutch because it works until I hold it down. I like to ask all of you before I start troubleshooting because most of you probably had this already. What do you all think? Feed back is great!

Re: Hydro clutch giving out
just check and see where the fluid is leaking from. for the clutch master you more than likely look on the inside of the firewall under where the clutch rod goes through. once in a long while it is just perhaps a linkage adj.
the clutch works unless I hold it down - that is the way that they generally work; but if you have to pump it up sounds like a fluid problem ron |

Re: Hydro clutch giving out
unless the slave is leaking like a sieve it should be the master

or there could be a crack in the line; after that there will be nothing else to check!
