Oil pan??
I have a ls1 out of an 04 gto that I'm swapping to my 70 c10. The motor has a front sump oil pan and I need a rear sump to clear. I've heard that I can just use a 98-02 f body oil pan and windage tray and pickup tube and it's a straight swap. Anybody know if that's true or have any more info?

Re: Oil pan??
pan, windage, pickup tube...and the CORRECT O-RING. Thats a dealbreaker.
Otherwise, yes the oil pans all interchange (its mostly about what fits your crossmember)

Re: Oil pan??
While you have the oil pan off, dont forget to knock out the little plug in the block that the dip stick goes into. You will also need an F body dipstick and tube since the GTO stick goes into the pan.
