my 85 k10
Me an my dad built this truck on a tight budget a couple years ago for my high school daily driver. It's nothing crazy right now an has gotten rough over the years. But anyhow here's the run down. 4" suspension lift 3" body 35x12.50x15's 12 bolt rear Dana 44 front 3.73 gears 350 small block small cam decent heads aluminum intake 650 edelbrock. Decent start of a truck and its took a ton of abuse. Big plans in the works for a full frame off around 500hp 6.0 Ls nv4500 dana44 front corp 14 bolt ff rear with 4.56 gears and lockers and cold ac!!!! I'll post pics as the process comes along.

Re: my 85 k10
I went out today an got my 3/4 ton rear ends and another frame an near perfect cab I'll post pics later tonight. I'm thinking about a 496 stroker instead of the 6.0 but I'm not sure right now. An morehead is only about an 1 1/2 trip I use to get a lot of body panels from a shop there

Re: my 85 k10
It was a pretty good day I had about 250 in the rear ends and the frame and cab. I'll try to take as many pics as I can for all the steps of the project. Anyone have a list of parts needed for the 6.0 nv4500 swap?? I've not decided if I'm going this route or a BBC 496 and sm465

Re: my 85 k10
are you looking at the blueprint 496 crate? I saw that in summit and looks priced right.
