Anyone know how to wire this up?
Quick question does anyone know how to wire a 1996 caprice/impala gauge cluster to work in a 1984 c10 swb...I want a digital dash (speedometer) without shelling out $700 for it...think I read on here a while back that someone on here can do that for a fee...as always thanks in advance.

Re: Anyone know how to wire this up?
I can't help, but I would not go digital. All of the digital displays in the many vehicles I have had with them fade out in the sun. You would think they would have come up with a way to overcome that by now - even with cell phone displays.

Re: Anyone know how to wire this up?
I was thinking of installing just the Digital Speedo unit from one of those clusters into the C10's housing, but I really like the stock gauges and have no reason to swap them out.
Keep in mind you'll need to install a speed sender and a conversion box to supply the speedo with the right signal. |

Are there any easy gauge cluster swaps? Mine are pretty beat and I'd be interested in having a tach.

Most gauges electronic gauges in newer stuff are controlled my the ecm. So retrofitting some thing would be a challenge indeed.

I know that on my '92 Chevy van the speedometer is controlled by this box, which I modified to correct the speedometer:
