Owner ID 1961 C20
Anyone recognize this 61 C20 from Idaho? Pretty unusual to see a 60-61 restored to stock condition in an infrequently-seen color, esp. with all the chrome (although it appears that it didn't come from the factory that way). Dig the 19.5s, too!

Nice looking truck! Take another look, I'm guessing the wheels are 17.5's

Re: Owner ID 1961 C20
Only downside is they didn't go back with an original option engine....has a 350 sbc. But not tire kicking it.....one great looking truck.

Re: Owner ID 1961 C20
OEM would been a 235 or 283...I'd bet this one originally came with a 235...only reason someone would wanna change to a V8. lol

Re: Owner ID 1961 C20
Would be nice if there was a trend toward restoring more muscular 3/4 ton versions, especially since 1/2 ton shortbeds have become pricey. IMO, this one has a few chromed "owner additions" items that did not come with it originally, but still looks sharp. Wheels are the standard wheel for all 60-66 3/4 tons, the one piece 17.5"

Re: Owner ID 1961 C20
You may be right on the wheels. In any case, whether 17.5 or 19.5", at least they're not the typical 1970s-80s wheels you typically see on these trucks. They make such a difference combined with the stock caps. Even though I don't like some of the modifications I still gotta give this guy kudos for restoring an un-loved and underrepresented truck..... and not doing it in a typical color to boot!
