Relocating fuse block.
Shaving the firewall and looking to relocate the fuse block. I have an AAW harness. Thought about in the glove box but figured it would get in the way of vintage air setup. Any ideas appreciated.

if your smoothing the firewall, why not just weld studs to the inside and leave it in the same spot. i did that on a 56 i had.

I mounted my Ron Francis fuse panel on the right side in the glovebox. I narrowed the cardboard insert so I have open access to the panel by simply opening the door. I'm running a stock economy heater and the Vintage Air under dash evaporator. I'm in my 60's with a bad back and knees, and it's a real blessing not having to twist around upside down in the doorway to deal with wiring changes:
