Re: monroe sensa trac 4/6 drop
I would call them in the morning and ask support...
MONROE SHOCKS & STRUTS: Contact MonroeŽ by Phone - 1-734-384-7809 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. EST M-F also found this in one of the forums.. Re: lowering c10 1970, same shocks? Let me give you a little bit of advice. If you buy stock front shocks for the front and install them on the rear you now have 5" drop rear shocks. I looked in the CPP catalog and the part number for the rear 5" drop shocks is the SAME part number for the front stock shocks. I did this on my 72 and they work perfectly. Just went down to Oreillys and bought some Monroe stock front shocks for like $20 each and saved some money. __________________ Shawn another link http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=335035 Last edited by craig113; 11-12-2014 at 04:05 AM. |

Re: monroe sensa trac 4/6 drop
Anyone know if I can order the factory length fronts and run them in the rear? I called and they told me their weren't any in a shorter application. They said the factory length for the front according to what they have listed is 9 3/4 compressed and 14 1/4 extended. I wanted to see if anyone knew wether or not they would work in the rear and I could figure something else out up front. Thanks

Re: monroe sensa trac 4/6 drop
I have 3" spindles and 1 coil cut off the stock springs and put on a set of the Monroe Sensa-Trac shocks (37049) on my 86 and they work great so far. I haven't put any on the rear yet.
