Setting up timing
I need to setup the timing to get maximum fuel economy. I have an adj. vacum advance. What and how should I adjust the timing to? Or could someone direct me to a good sight?
It is a 350/700r4, hei, qjet with 3.0 gears all in a 71 lwb. Thanks Jason |

Jason,
Try reading over the information in this FAQ. The vacuum advance is adjusted last. Once the distributor is adjusted correctly. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...threadid=62040 If you have any other questions just ask.
