Four Link
I have been looking at doing a 4 link on my 1965 Chevy Pickup. I found a site that might make it more economical. Anyone done a 4 link on a 60-66 C10.

Re: Four Link
There prices on some stuff is very high. There front cross member is $1,000,000 plus bags and sway bar. Stuff looks OK I am just not a fan of 100% non adjustable links. If anything pulls in the housing when you weld it (and it will move) you have no way to get the preload out of the system.

Re: Four Link
Thanks. Also considering using coil over shocks. I wonder where is a good place to find a bargain on them.

Re: Four Link
I used peices from ballistic fab. Very nice parts bought the weld in bungs uppers are round and fully adjustable left and right hand thread. And the bottom is adjustable on one end only. The shanks for the bushings are 1 1/4 on the bottom and 7/8 I believe for the top

Re: Four Link
The tubing is from a local steel distributor. The lower links are 2x2x1/4. And the upper links are 1 1/4 round and the thickness was just under 1/4

Re: Four Link
Don't cut corners on something as critical as suspension links. Get the right parts and make sure the welds have good penetration. The components that lowlife4life used from Ballistic Fab are very good quality.

Re: Four Link
AVS or AZProperformance can you get a 4 link for just about the same price as making it.
