27,000 mile 67 Long Fleet
My Great Aunt's father bought this truck new in 1967. It has been on a ranch in Battle Mountain for most of its life and has only 26,XXX miles. My uncle repainted it stock colors several years ago and also replaced master cyl and wheel cyls. They're looking to sell and asked me to help. What are ideas on price?

Put it on ebay and sell it to an Eastern person, get the most $ that way. Low mileage is great and sells. Price is a hard one though as it's all over the place.

Re: 27,000 mile 67 Long Fleet
i agree with dub, hard to say on a truck like this. low options and i-6 doesn't help, but well preserved and low mileage is desirable. i would say $5k myself.
neat truck though, i like it.

Re: 27,000 mile 67 Long Fleet
I would put it on ebay and list your ph #. That way when the auction is over, you will get calls about it. Look at it like nationwide advertising. I would also advertise it on Clist in a bunch of the major cities east of the Mississippi river.
That truck needs 10K of work to make it really nice, but you may find someone that will clean it up and drive it like it is. My best guess would be $6,000 to $7,000 maybe $7,500. It may take a while to sell it because most people that have that kind of cash are not looking for a project, they want it done so they will spend the extra 5k to 10k. good luck, Jim |
