81-87 Vinyl Flooring - Original Appearance?
I have read, and read, and read the majority of threads and post available on the website, but do not conclusively find solid directive that any one manufacturer or vendor has an OEM appearance and quality molded vinyl floor for replacement in my 1985 Chevrolet 2wd.
Looking for original appearance, fit, and quality as i am fixing up a truck that came from down south and the original is cracked and smooth spot worn under accelerator pedal from heel of a work boot. Please let me know if there are any manufactuers or vendors that positively can provide or get extremely close to what I am looking for? I see ACC offers a replacement vinyl floor (even in colors) for my application, but do not find any direct feedback or pictures on their product for my application (square body trucks). Any and all input appreciated. Thank you, |

Re: 81-87 Vinyl Flooring - Original Appearance?
Keith Seymore has pics showing his original looking vinyl mat on his posting here. I like the idea of the LMC heavier weight vinyl. The stock vinyl flooring on my 76 never laid down flat and cracked in several places, so I would want a heavier mat. I also like Huskyliners on top.

Site vendor Capt. Kaos.
It is a bit thicker than stock but does not have the specific ribbed pattern under the brake and accelerator pedals. It was close enough for me (daily driver use). Pics can be found in my intro/build link below.
