Re: Frame question

Give Tom a call at Tuckers 702-258-1955 he just picked up a couple more trucks and might have what you need. I just got high hump floor from him.

Re: Frame question

'60-'62 frames are very different than '63-'72 frames. They are narrower in the front and the frame rails are different in the rear. Not sure if any of the body mounts would match up with the frame and cab/bed. I am sure someone will know the real answer but do all your research before pulling the trigger on a later frame, hence you don't end up with a ton more work.

Re: Frame question

yeah theyre way different, torsion bar suspension and narrower. you might want to see about just getting frame horns from a doner truck and welding on to your existing frame

Re: Frame question

The easiest would be to just replace a section of the front of both frame rails. A swap to a '63-'66 frame is doable but it is quite a bit of work changing a complete frame. The '63-'66 frame would be the best frame to use if that is the route you want to go. Just be sure you first contact your local DMV and find out what it takes to make a frame swap legal in your county/state.
