looking for an IFS
okay guys i'm jumping in with both feet so i'm gonna start with a IFS . dose anyone have any ideas of where i can get a low cost, high quality independent front suspension or a place near Fresno Ca. that can build me one

You automatically get disc, the ablility to run power steering, and the coil spring setup. Its also by far the cheapest. Heck, just buy a donor truck, swap the crossmember and steering stuff all at once, and do drop spindles while you're in there, converting to 5lug. Take the rear axle off the truck and use it for the rear.

? I don't understand. you already have an independent front suspension. if you want to upgrade relatively inexpensively, do the swap that BR3W suggested and add '71-'72 models to the list of donors (although the later models are preferred)

There's nothing wrong with torsion bars. They sell all parts to rebuild and drop spindles to swap in disks.
